Description
Join Lake Metroparks staff as we slow down for this 3.5-hour relaxing bird outing. We will focus not only on the birds we see, but also on how they interact with the environment. Immerse yourself by experiencing birds as part of nature, without a rush to see a certain number of species. Regardless of skill level, if you just want to get in touch with nature through birds, then Slow Birding is perfect. Terrain: Mostly flat, gravel trails with some areas of boardwalk.
Directions
Arrive at 3301 Lane Road in Perry Township. Meet next to the shelter. We will begin at 7:30 am. Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather. Water is recommended. Terrain is flat, and trails are gravel. Flush restrooms are available on site.
