Each year, volunteers make the Headlands Birding Festival possible by helping with registration, guiding bird walks, greeting visitors, and supporting events throughout the weekend. Volunteering is a great way to meet fellow nature lovers, learn more about birds, and contribute to a community event that celebrates conservation and outdoor discovery at Headlands Beach State Park.

The Festival needs volunteers for the following activities:

• Festival setup
• Festival tear-down
• Festival photographer
• Preparing registration packets
• Check-ins
• Leading (and co-leading) birding walks
