Description

Join the opening walk at Springbrook Gardens Park prior to the keynote speech. Staff will talk about the restoration efforts that have been conducted in the park to provide habitat for wildlife. Additionally, we’ll discuss the benefits of blooms and grassland habitats for species of birds and butterflies. We will attempt to catch and tag monarch butterflies.

Directions

Arrive at 6776 Heisley Road near the Gardenhouse at 3:30 pm on Friday. Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. This walk is ADA accessible and has pavement.  The walk will end a half-hour prior to the start of social hour at Springbrook Gardenhouse.
