Description
Enjoy the sights and sounds of sunset in Lake County’s largest and most storied wetland habitat. The evening flight can be a remarkable spectacle as creatures big and small either settle in or gear up for the night. This walk will begin at the Wake Robin Boardwalk, and then participants will follow leader Mike Sustin in their own vehicles to the nearby Mentor Lagoons Nature Preserve, time permitting.
Directions
Meet at 6:45 pm on Friday at the Wake Robin Boardwalk, 8936 Woodridge Lane in Mentor, Ohio. The walk will start at Wake Robin Boardwalk and then will move to Mentor Lagoons Nature Preserve (8365 Harbor Drive, Mentor, Ohio) if time permits. This bird walk will be a caravan type, where you will drive yourself between locations. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring bug spray.
