Description

Join a Lake Metroparks biologist on a walk through one of our Grand River floodplain parks. Beaty Landing is known for being part of the migratory corridor along the Grand River for migratory songbirds. Enjoy a leisurely walk while we talk about birds and the importance of protecting riparian corridor habitat for wildlife. Terrain: Mostly flat, gravel, and natural surface trails.

Directions

Meet at 543 East Walnut St. in Painesville in the parking lot. This walk occurs on graveled trails and natural surface areas. The terrain is predominantly flat, and the walk will be around 1.2 miles long. Wear comfortable walking shoes.
